Sinopsis del libro
Esta es la historia de una chica y un muchacho que se conocen en un tren de cercanías. En su estrenada amistad hay una playa en otoño, una guitarra, un equipo de fútbol, un instituto y un Liceo, clases y amigos, dos familias, un gusto por la vida, un piano, un cáncer, una libreta roja, un secuestro y un buen final. A los protagonistas de esta novela, sencillos y humanos, les vemos unidos y enriquecidos por los lazos de amistad, del amor y del dolor compartido.

¡Empezamos el otoño en esta semana! Por lo que iniciarlo con ésta novela juvenil con tintes de filosofía me parece muy atinado para hacernos entrar en esta nueva etapa, en la que el libro nos introducirá en el otoño con sus descripciones tan nítidas de los paisajes de árboles perdiendo sus hojas, conservando solo unas escasas en varios tintes de naranja, el cambio de clima (que solemos anhelar tanto) y ese aire de nostalgia intangible pero innegable.
Es una historia contada en tercera persona en la que nos adentraremos en la vida de diferentes personajes que sufren, que ríen y que viven sus cotidianidades adolescentes en Barcelona, aunque nuestros protagonistas son Nacho y Paula, dos chicos que se conocen en el tren cuando salen de la escuela, experimentan una atracción que no habían vivido antes y a lo largo del libro hay detalles que sin darse cuenta los van conectando y poniendo en situaciones en común, al principio es algo confuso pero poco a poco va tomando forma.
Nacho vive en una permanente tristeza desde que murió su mamá, la persona que más amaba en el mundo, debido a un cáncer que fue consumiéndola lenta y dolorosamente, aunque sus enseñanzas que él practica con frecuencia y para las que tiene un talento especial lo conecta con ella de una manera muy especial y estrecha.
Paula, aunque lo conoce de solo un par de breves encuentros en el trayecto del tren, es lo suficientemente observadora para percibir esa tristeza, y tiene la capacidad de acercarse a él pese a que a Nacho le cuesta mucho relacionarse con los demás después de la muerte de su mamá. Una paradoja muy interesante es que Nacho siente aversión hacia la filosofía y Paula, opuestamente, es algo que le apasiona y lee mucho al respecto, incluso le llega a prestar algunos libros y consigue contagiarle a Nacho el placer de leer y entender la filosofía, lo que también le ayudará a redescubrir el sentido de su vida y entender la pérdida.
Es un libro pensado para un público adolescente a partir de 14 años (aunque un adulto también lo puede disfrutar). Me parece una opción interesante si quieres empezar a conocer un poco de autores y filosofía de una manera amena en la que se ofrecen también explicaciones de ésta, el autor tiene licenciatura en filosofía (así que sabe de lo que habla), es profesor y también se dedica a escribir ensayos del tema y libros de texto.
Es un libro ligero y sencillo, por lo que si tienes ganas de una lectura para entretenerte que no tenga demasiada complejidad y profundidad, y que tenga un mensaje útil y bonito es el título perfecto para ti.
