Clementin vive en París, en un espléndido departamento con vistas a la ciudad y a sus tejados. Es una chica joven, alegre y afortunada, con un trabajo que adora: leer libros a niños con dificultades, ayudándoles a que superen sus miedos a través de la terapia de palabras.
Albert Seraphin es un joven escritor quien, después de haberse cruzado con Clementine por la calle y quedarse deslumbrado por ella, la convierte en la protagonista de su novela. Al publicar este libro, titulado “Fábula en París”, pasa a ser rápidamente un best seller, el público se enamora locamente de una novela que está escrita desde el corazón. Clementine también leerá la novela, y al pasar la última página la invade una extraña sensación, intuye que esta historia tiene algo de premonitorio. Hay algo que transmite el libro que parece pertenecerle solo a ella…

La historia está ambientada en París, con una chica que acaba de heredar un departamento en ensueño con vista a la torre Eiffel, llamada Clementine. Tiene 27 años y es una psicóloga que tiene un proyecto tan ambicioso como bonito: pretende iniciar una especie de “libroterapia”, ayudar a por medio de la terapia y los libros a los niños para sanar sus heridas, comprenderse a sí mismos y a la vida, pues ella conoce y cree en el poder de los libros, de las palabras y de la voz que lee.
El edificio al que llegó, está lleno de adorables y simpáticos vecinos que empiezan a formar parte de su vida y de su corazón rápidamente. Héctor ha sido mi personaje favorito y me cayó bien desde las dos primeras líneas que leí sobre él. Cuando lo leas entenderás porque lo digo.
Clementine es un personaje fácil de querer, tiene una esencia bonita y noble que se percibe aunque no la conozcas muy bien, y esto lo supo detectar un sujeto que se la topó una sola vez en el metro y se enamoró de ella.
Albert, después de ese tropiezo afortunado, no puede dejar de pensar en ella, la busca por todas partes pero, bueno, es difícil toparse casualmente con alguien en una ciudad tan grande. Así que decide escribir una novela romántica en la que se imagina cómo sería su historia, y la describe a ella. El libro adquiere popularidad rápidamente y la misma Clementine lo lee y siente que hay algo de ella en él, lo siente, aunque no se explica exactamente porqué.
Albert tiene la certeza de que ella, aunque no conoce su nombre, es el amor de su vida y busca la manera de que puedan coincidir, ¿lo logrará?
Este libro me pareció bonito porque tiene un entusiasmo en cada línea que te contagia, es ligero, breve, lo terminas rápido y te deja una sensación agradable cuando llegas a la última página. Una historia que gustará a quienes leen novelas románticas sin ganas de una trama intensa ni finales atroces 🙂
